A tower mill of 1809 on Bellingham Lane, now home to Rayleigh’s town museum. Entry is free, with a small donation invited, and the displays cover how the mill worked and the vanished Norman castle on nearby Rayleigh Mount. It opens from late March to September, and the station is a short walk down the hill.
