Not a windmill but a watermill: Cogglesford sits on the River Slea at the edge of Sleaford, on a milling site going back to Saxon times. Restored to working order, it grinds stoneground wholemeal flour, with the wheel usually turning at weekends and full milling on the second Sunday of the month. Entry is free, and Sleaford station is about a kilometre off.
