Walls is a sheltered village around a natural harbour on the West Mainland, tucked behind the islands of Vaila and Linga. It’s the mainland link for Foula — the remote island 20 miles out into the Atlantic, reached by a small ferry from here. The village is long known for its annual agricultural show, which draws crowds from across Shetland.
