A scattered village on Holy Island, Rhoscolyn runs down to Borthwen, a sheltered sandy inlet good for swimming, with rockier coves and the white sea arch of Bwa Gwyn along the coast path beyond. The White Eagle is the walkers’ pub here, set back above the shore. Valley station is around 3km to the north-east.
