North Warnborough runs into neighbouring Odiham, a village of thatch and timber framing beside the Basingstoke Canal. On the water meadows just west stand the ruins of Odiham Castle, the octagonal keep from which King John is said to have ridden to seal Magna Carta in 1215. Hook station is about 2km to the north.
