Corpach guards the western sea-lock of the Caledonian Canal, where boats drop down to Loch Linnhe. These days it’s best known for the ‘Corpach Wreck’, a fishing boat left beached on the shore that photographers love to frame with Ben Nevis rising behind it. The station is on the Mallaig line.
