Stacks of Duncansby
National iconSharp sea stacks at Scotland's corner.
The Stacks of Duncansby are great pointed sea stacks rising out of the water just south of Duncansby Head, near the north-east tip of the mainland. A short walk over grassy clifftops from the Duncansby Head car park, past the lighthouse, brings you to the viewpoint looking down on them — easily the best of this corner of coast. Wick is the nearest station, roughly 22km away.
