Glen Affric is often called one of Scotland’s loveliest glens, and from this viewpoint you can see why: lochs strung along the valley floor, fringed with ancient Caledonian pinewood and hills beyond. A forest road leads in from Cannich with car parks along the way. Open access, and gorgeous in autumn when the birches turn gold.
