The Wynnstay Arms is an old coaching inn at Llanbrynmair, on the road between Newtown and Machynlleth. The building is said to date to around 1512, and it has served as a pub for well over 300 years. These days it’s a village inn with rooms and food, a quiet stop in the upper Twymyn valley. Machynlleth station is roughly 15km west.
