One of the oldest pubs in Cornwall — parts are medieval, and it claims a line of hospitality back to Saxon times, though that is more legend than record. The Bush Inn stands in the clifftop parish of Morwenstow, on the coast path in the county’s far north-east corner. This was Parson Hawker’s parish; his church of St Morwenna and his driftwood hut on the cliffs are both a walk away.
