A foraging-led restaurant on the old Military Road near Hadrian’s Wall, serving a tasting menu drawn from farm, fell and hedgerow within a short radius. The cooking is inventive and firmly rooted in the Northumberland landscape. The Hadrian’s Wall Path passes almost at the door, so dinner makes a natural end to a day on the wall, or pair it with a look at moated Aydon Castle to the south-west.
