Monymusk’s parish church stands by the River Don on the site of an Augustinian priory founded around 1200, and it’s among the older churches in this corner of Aberdeenshire — worth a look if you’re passing through the quiet Donside village. Open and free to visit. Kintore station is about 10km to the east.
