Grobust is a broad white-sand beach on the north of Westray, worth the trip out for the sand alone. Just behind it lie the Links of Noltland, a major Neolithic dig where the little sandstone figurine known as the Westray Wife was found. Westray is reached by ferry or a short island-hopper flight from Kirkwall.
