Alva is a Hillfoots town sitting right below Ben Cleuch and the Ochils, with the steep, wooded Alva Glen cutting up into the hills behind it — a short but dramatic walk to the waterfalls. Harviestoun brewery is here too, if you’re after a pint at the end of it.
