On the Isle of Portland, the Island Sauna is a wood-fired barrel on Black Barge Beach, off Mulberry Avenue near Castletown. It seats up to eight, for communal sessions or private hire, and the sea is a few steps away for a cold swim. Sunday mornings bring Silent Sunday sessions, when you share the heat without the chat.
