A wood-fired sauna tucked behind the old lime kiln on Porthleven harbour, looking back at the town and clock tower

The sauna seats six and is fed from outside, so the fire is stoked without anyone opening the door, and it runs at 70 to 90°C. You cool off in an ice bath or the cold dip tanks, and the cliff and the kiln walls shelter you from the worst of the wind. The operator asks swimmers to respect the working harbour.
