Wythall is a 16th-century half-timbered manor in wooded grounds above the Wye Valley, a few miles from Ross-on-Wye. Its 3.5-acre vineyard grows Siegerrebe, Orion, Rondo and early pinot, all made into small-batch estate wine. Tutored tastings happen in the manor’s dining room, usually Saturday lunchtimes, and in summer the private garden opens on Sundays for wine and cheese platters. Booking is advised.
