Out on the Finzean estate in the quieter south of Deeside, this farm shop and tearoom sells estate-reared meat, home baking and local produce, and makes a tasty stop for tea and cake. A good pairing with a walk in the Forest of Birse or along the River Feugh. It’s around 24km north-west of Laurencekirk.
