The big church at Clynnog Fawr was a major stop for pilgrims walking the Llŷn towards Bardsey. Most of it went up around 1480–1500, unusually large and grand for a village, with a detached St Beuno’s Chapel reached by a short passage and the saint’s holy well, Ffynnon Beuno, a few minutes’ walk off. Open to visitors.
