Carsphairn Parish Church is a simple white-harled kirk standing more or less alone in the upper Glenkens, in country with long Covenanter memories — hard, remote ground for the hill-preachers of the 1680s. It’s a quiet roadside stop on the A713 between Dalry and Ayrshire, with the Rhinns of Kells rising to the west.
