Corserine rises to 814 m (2,671 ft) in Dumfries and Galloway. It counts among the 222 Corbetts, Scottish hills between 2,500 and 3,000 feet. Only two of the 72 hills the Albion Guide charts in Dumfries and Galloway stand higher. Nearby hills include Carlin's Cairn, Milldown and Meaul.
