West Voe is a crescent of pale sand just south of Sumburgh Airport, right at the bottom of the Mainland — an award-winning beach and an easy one to reach if you’re down near Sumburgh. Sheltered and shallow, it’s good for a paddle while you’re waiting on a flight or making for the ferry.
