Sango Sands sits right below Durness village, a golden beach broken up by sea stacks and little coves — genuinely dramatic for something you can walk straight down to. There’s open access from the A838, and a campsite on the clifftop above if you want to stay. This is remote coast: the nearest station, Forsinard, is a long 55km drive to the south-east.
