Oldshoremore is a sheltered cove of white sand backed by machair and rock, out on the far north-west coast near Kinlochbervie. It’s a gorgeous, quiet beach — the kind you can often have to yourself — reached off the B801. There’s no railway anywhere near: Lairg station is over 60km away, so it’s very much a drive.
