Lochaline is the main village of Morvern, at the end of the long A884 on the Sound of Mull. A small car ferry crosses to Fishnish on Mull, and the village sits on a rare seam of pure white silica sand once mined for high-grade glass. It’s a quiet harbour, well worth the drive down.
