Latheronwheel is a quiet spot on the Caithness coast just off the A9, with a small stone harbour tucked below the village. The nicest thing to do here is the short walk up the wooded Fairy Glen, following the burn between the trees — an easy leg-stretch to break a drive along the coast road.
