Llechwedd runs deep-mine tours into the old slate workings above Blaenau Ffestiniog, taking you underground by a steep cable railway to caverns first worked in the 1840s. The same hillside is now a Zip World adventure site, with zip lines and underground trampolines strung through the disused chambers. Admission for the tours and activities; Blaenau Ffestiniog station is about a kilometre south.
