A remote Munro above Loch Treig, almost always climbed together with its taller twin Stob Coire Easain

Stob a’ Choire Mheadhoin and Stob Coire Easain sit side by side above Loch Treig, a pair so alike that walkers rarely do one without the other. At 1,105m it’s the lower of the two, though a Munro all the same — a Scottish hill over 3,000 feet — with a neat, rocky top. The round usually starts near Tulloch or Fersit to the north and links both summits along the connecting ridge. This is quiet, back-of-beyond country on the eastern edge of Ben Nevis and Glen Coe, a fair walk from the nearest road.
