Voe is a tidy little village of red-painted buildings at the head of a sea inlet in the central Mainland. The lower part gathers picturesquely around the old pier and sail loft, which gives it a slightly Scandinavian look. It sits at a junction of the main roads, so you’ll likely pass through heading north or out to the Yell ferry.
